TEMNOS is a patented technology created in 1996 by Pierluigi Dalla Pace, the co-founder of IRON, a company with a long-standing presence in the industry since 1969. IRON has steadily climbed the ranks to become a leading force in sheet metal forming, specializing in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 12.7 mm and widths of up to 2000 mm. While the initial generation of TEMNOS, which used a CO2 laser solution, had somewhat limited applications, its innovative coil-fed laser blanking line delivered excellent results from the start. In 2008, the introduction of fiber lasers significantly improved cutting speeds, expanding the scope of TEMNOS to its second generation (TEMNOS Generation II). This advancement allowed IRON to establish itself as a benchmark player in the coil-fed laser blanking sector. By 2018, TEMNOS had evolved into its third generation, known as the "FULL MOTION" version. This milestone was achieved through the incorporation of a loop slot anti-flashback laser cutting table system, further solidifying TEMNOS' position as cutting-edge technology in the field.
